Thick n thin skein and Fleeces I won't process
Frequently I come across as a plain spinner; I like a smooth yarn for weaving, and I prefer natural colors. However, there is a completely different side to my spinning, locks and thick and thin. My preference is to refer to them as "textured" yarns, as I see all yarns as art. Texture is much more than spinning from an ill prepped source. It's a skill that involves prep, drafting, and twists. Textured yarns add dimension and interest to woven projects, and knitted items.
The second half of this vlog deals with fleeces I won't process. I've been known to work with some pretty sketchy stuff, in the name of frugality. But even I have my limits.
